Case Studies
See what past clients have shared about their coaching experiences
Real Stories of Transformation
Every coaching journey is unique — but what unites them all is the quiet courage it takes to look inward, get honest, and choose change. The stories shared below offer a glimpse into the real experiences of clients who have worked with me through Intuitive Psychology Coaching.
These clients come from different walks of life — corporate leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs — but each arrived with a desire for something more: clarity, connection, healing, growth.
These case studies reflect the depth of what’s possible when structure meets intuition, and when we learn to listen to our inner voice. I’m honoured to share their journeys with you.
Martin: Reclaimed his 'main character energy'
Maylis: Resolved her inner conflict
Wesley: Found clarity and happiness
Ellie: Finally let go of past hurt

Meet Martin
Martin is a senior leader in the corporate world—a high achiever used to structure, logic, and working at full pace. When he first reached out, he was seeking greater fulfilment but unsure where to begin. Coaching was a completely new concept to him, and he admitted to being a little sceptical. His words on our initial call: “I feel like a non-playable character in my own story.” His goal? To reclaim his "main character energy" and feel more in control of his life again.
A New Kind of Coaching Journey
From the start, Martin acknowledged that stepping into coaching felt unfamiliar and a little uncomfortable. He had no self-reflection habits and described himself as someone who thrived on logic. In our first session, we focused on nervous system regulation and building trust in the process. With eyes closed and a calm, grounded space, Martin began to access something he hadn’t allowed himself to for a long time—his own inner voice.
Over the course of our sessions, Martin experienced powerful shifts using a blend of Intuitive Psychology tools including Deep Intuitive Trust, Working with Parts, Unlayering, Flow Mapping, and POWER Goal Visualisation. Through these techniques, he:
-
Uncovered unconscious patterns and self-protective behaviours
-
Reconnected with buried emotions like anger and frustration, and discovered their deeper messages
-
Gained powerful clarity about what he truly wants—not just what’s expected of him
-
Visualised his aligned future and began taking clear, confident steps toward it
Each session built on the last, moving from exploration and emotional honesty to empowerment and intentional action.
The Turning Point
One of the most significant moments in Martin's journey came during a technique called Flow Mapping. He visualised different versions of his future — and had a major breakthrough when he realised that his “comfortable compromise” path would leave him feeling just as unfulfilled years down the line. That moment of clarity gave him the confidence to finally pursue the path he truly wanted.
“I felt like a non-playable character in my own story."
-Martin
During a POWER Goal session, Martin experienced such deep connection to his vision that he described feeling "fizzing with energy" and asked for the session recording so he could revisit it. From there, he began taking aligned actions, embracing honest conversations, and letting go of old patterns that were holding him back.
The Tangible Evidence of Growth
As part of our work together, Martin completed the Intuitive Authenticity Scale — a tool that helps clients reflect on key themes such as self-worth, courage, and trust through the lens of their intuition.
At the beginning of our journey, Martin rated himself low in areas like courage and connection. By the end of our sessions, his scores had significantly increased—especially in Courage (from 4/10 to 8/10) and Connection (from 5/10 to 8/10).
These shifts reflect not only the internal breakthroughs he experienced but also his growing confidence in making aligned decisions and leading from a place of self-awareness and truth.
The Outcome
By the end of our coaching journey, just 2 months later, Martin had achieved the goal he set at the very start: to reclaim his main character energy. He felt empowered, in control, and deeply connected to the future he was now actively creating. His daily habits had shifted, and he left with a commitment to continue journaling, and listening to his intuition.
A few weeks after our final session, Martin shared that he’s still crystal clear on the direction he’s heading—and he’s taking action toward it with confidence.
In Martin's Words:
“I was super sceptical about coaching, especially ‘intuitive’ coaching. To me life was logical: do ‘this’ and then ‘that’ will happen. But as it turned out, I didn’t know myself as well as I thought.
This style of coaching forces you to be honest with yourself and realise what’s been holding you back. And the thing that makes it so powerful is that the answers don’t come from the coach. They come from you.”
“Gemma was brilliant at guiding me through the process and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.”
Meet Maylis
Maylis is a creative, experienced professional with a background in education and business, and a keen interest in personal development. When she first reached out, she was seeking something different — an approach that could help her feel more grounded in her current chapter while reconnecting with confidence, acceptance, and ownership of her story.
Despite having worked with various therapists and coaches in the past, something still felt unresolved. She was drawn to Intuitive Psychology Coaching as a fresh, structured, and emotionally intelligent approach—but admitted she wasn’t sure what to expect.
Her intention? To find deeper peace, release the inner conflict, and feel united within herself again.
A Gentle Yet Powerful Journey
Maylis came into the process with a wealth of insight and self-awareness, yet quickly discovered that this coaching journey offered something new. Through a blend of powerful Intuitive Psychology techniques — including Deep Intuitive Trust, Working with Parts, POWER Goal Visualisation, and Affirmative Anchors — she entered a deeply reflective and transformative space.Unlike other approaches she’d experienced, this journey didn’t require her to re-live or unpack her trauma in full detail. Instead, we explored the beliefs, fears, and internal stories that had shaped her present-day patterns—and gave those parts a voice.
Through the work, Maylis:
- Learned to recognise the protective strategies she’d developed and gently release them
- Explored powerful visualisation tools to process emotion and reframe old narratives
- Experienced deep states of reflection that brought clarity, peace, and insight
- Reconnected with her sense of trust, worthiness, and instinct
- Let go of internal resistance and began to embrace change with greater ease
The Turning Point
One of the most memorable breakthroughs came through visual work with Parts. Maylis described the relief of being able to engage with past pain in a way that felt safe, respectful, and empowering — without needing to revisit every detail. She particularly loved the visual techniques and felt the power of “releasing ruminating thoughts” and described it as unexpectedly freeing.
“Nothing can change the past but you can learn to re-write the story you tell yourself about it.”-Maylis
After recognising that I held a safe space for her to explore any emotions that arose, something shifted — she allowed the emotions to be felt and she began to open up even more deeply.
This willingness to surrender into the process marked a powerful turning point. Maylis began to feel lighter, more centred, and far more aligned with what truly matters to her.
The Tangible Evidence of Growth
Maylis completed the Intuitive Authenticity Scale at the beginning and end of our work together. Her growth was remarkable, particularly in Worthiness (from 4/10 to 9/10) and Trust (from 2/10 to 7/10)
These numbers speak volumes. But more importantly, they reflect a lived transformation — one where Maylis now moves through life with greater clarity, gentleness, and self-trust.
The Outcome
By the end of our journey, Maylis had created meaningful new habits, including joining our weekly free ‘Mindset Monday’ sessions. She also strengthened her inner dialogue, and released the sense of inner conflict that had followed her for years. She felt more peaceful, more confident, and more united within herself.
Her future feels both grounded and expansive — and she now navigates it with a blend of instinct, alignment, and gratitude.
In Maylis' Words
“This journey has helped me realise just how much of our current reality is shaped by the stories we tell ourselves and the thoughts we replay on a loop. I feel lighter, less conflicted, and much clearer about what I’m truly striving for.”
“The best thing is that you get to deal with deep trauma without having to dig into it and re-live it. I didn't know that addressing a very deep part of you without going into the details could be so effective. The deep state of sitting in the subconscious allows you to deal with trauma based on how it affects you today and the limiting beliefs, fears or difficulties you have because of it.”
“Nothing can change the past but you can learn to re-write the story you tell yourself about it and to recognise where it has more control over you than it should.”
“Gemma is a brilliant coach because she genuinely cares about her clients’ transformation. She brings a wealth of experience, having professionally coached employees for years while building a highly successful business known for its award-winning positive culture.”
“I would recommend Gemma because she brings the perfect blend of natural talent, experience, credibility, training, and genuine passion.”
“I’d say: take the leap — you’ll be glad you did. It’s not as scary as you might expect; in fact, it’s often relaxing and brings a real sense of relief & inner peace.”
“While personal development is a lifelong journey, IPC accelerates progress through its structured approach and powerful tools. It’s a truly incredible opportunity for transformation.”
Meet Wesley
Wesley came to coaching with a clear but quietly powerful intention: to feel more present, more grateful, and more at peace with the parts of himself that felt difficult to hold. A reflective and thoughtful client, he was navigating a period of internal uncertainty and wanted to regain clarity and control — not just of his thoughts, but of the direction his life was taking.
He wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from Intuitive Psychology Coaching, but felt open and ready for change. What followed was a deep, illuminating process of self-discovery and personal transformation.
A Structured Yet Intuitive Experience
From the start, Wesley approached the sessions with openness and honesty. Together, we explored a range of techniques from the Intuitive Psychology toolkit — including Deep Intuitive Trust, Working with Parts, Inner Child Work, Timeline Reflection, Unlayering, and POWER Goal Visualisation.
This blend of grounded tools and intuitive exploration offered him space to reflect, regulate, and reconnect.
Over the course of our work, Wesley:
-
Confronted and re-evaluated long-held inner patterns and beliefs
-
Connected with younger and previously unheard parts of himself
-
Visualised his future self and identified the path to get there
-
Experienced profound breakthroughs in self-awareness and emotional clarity
-
Developed stronger self-trust and a sense of grounded confidence
Each session built on the last — creating a container of gentle challenge, self-compassion, and momentum.
The Turning Point
Some of Wesley’s most significant moments came through visualisation and future self work, where he accessed clarity that had felt out of reach for some time. The act of facing patterns that had once felt overwhelming became a gateway to liberation. By meeting those parts with compassion and curiosity, he made peace with aspects of himself he’d long tried to avoid.
“One of the most valuable aspects of the journey was experiencing those breakthrough moments of clarity and self-awareness.”
-Wesley
That internal shift opened the door to feeling lighter, more present, and more in control — not just mentally, but emotionally and energetically, too.
The Tangible Evidence of Growth
Wesley completed the Intuitive Authenticity Scale and his results reflected powerful internal shifts. He saw remarkable growth in all areas, and exceptional shifts in Awareness (from 5/10 to 9/10) and Connection (from 4/10 to 8/10).
These changes represented more than numbers—they reflected a deep reconnection with self, and a newfound ability to move forward with clarity and intention.
The Outcome
By the end of our time together, Wesley had cultivated the presence, emotional regulation, gratitude, and clarity he was initially seeking — and more. He described feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to who he is and what he wants. The destructive parts that once held weight were now acknowledged, understood, and no longer in control.
This was not just personal growth — it was personal liberation.
In Wesley’s Words:
“At the beginning of this coaching journey, my goal was simply to gain clarity and feel more in control of my thoughts and direction in life. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but I knew I needed support to navigate some internal challenges and uncertainties.”
“This particular style of coaching exceeded my expectations. It offered a balance of structure and intuition, combining practical tools with reflective exercises that encouraged deep personal insight. Techniques such as visualisation and future self exercises were especially impactful.”
“One of the most valuable aspects of the journey was experiencing those breakthrough moments of clarity and self-awareness. The most challenging part was confronting patterns that had been holding me back, but doing so proved to be a pivotal step toward growth.”
“The process has significantly shifted my perspective and overall outlook. I now feel more grounded, confident, and better equipped to move forward with intention.”
“Your coaching style was both compassionate and gently challenging, always supportive but with just the right level of encouragement to push beyond my comfort zone.”
“Compared to where I was before we began, I now feel lighter, clearer, and more connected to who I am and what I want.”
“For anyone considering working with you, I would encourage them to be open, honest, and ready for real, lasting change—you’ll be in very capable hands.”
Meet Ellie
When Ellie first arrived in our coaching sessions, she was carrying the weight of past experiences and an ongoing fear of judgment. Her inner world felt overwhelming, and though she wasn’t familiar with Intuitive Psychology Coaching, she was ready to explore something new — something that could help her find peace, confidence, and kindness toward herself again.
Her intention was simple but powerful: to let go of what no longer served her, especially the pain she was carrying from past events, and reconnect with her own truth.
A Safe Space to Be Seen
From our very first session, Ellie showed up with vulnerability and heart. She stepped into the unknown with quiet bravery, willing to look inward even when it felt uncomfortable. Together, we worked through a range of tools within the Intuitive Psychology framework—including Inner Child work, Shadow exploration, Deep Intuitive Trust, Working with Parts, and Happiness Belief Change.
Each session offered her a space of safety, non-judgment, and deep reflection. Over time, Ellie:
-
Released layers of pain she had been holding onto for years
-
Gently met the parts of herself shaped by fear, especially around being seen and judged
-
Experienced powerful breakthroughs that reconnected her with her voice and inner truth
-
Built compassion and confidence from within
-
Set clear, values-aligned goals for her future and began taking intentional steps
The Turning Point
One of Ellie’s most powerful sessions came unexpectedly — on a day when her mind felt busy and she struggled to connect in her usual way. Rather than pushing through, we slowed down. We listened. And we went back to a technique she had worked with before: Parts Work.
There, we uncovered a part of her that held the fear of judgment and had been quietly preventing her from speaking her truth. Meeting that part with care and curiosity unlocked a deep shift—and created space for even greater self-expression.
“I feel like I have finally let go of all the hurt I have held onto all these years.”
-Ellie
The Tangible Evidence of Growth
Ellie completed the Intuitive Authenticity Scale at the beginning and end of our coaching journey. Her results reflected powerful emotional healing and growth, especially in Courage (from 2/10 to 7/10), Connection (from 2/10 to 7/10), and Awareness (from 4/10 to 8/10).

These changes weren’t just numbers—they were evidence of the emotional lightness, inner calm, and strength she began to embody as the sessions progressed.
The Outcome
By the end of our eight sessions together, Ellie had found what she came for — and so much more. She described feeling more at peace, more confident, and finally free of the pain she had carried for so long. Her voice had returned, her truth had space, and she no longer felt held back by fear.
She continues to trust herself more deeply, show herself greater compassion, and navigate life with a sense of empowerment and self-kindness.
In Ellie’s Words:
“At first, I didn’t really know much about Intuitive Psychology Coaching and I underestimated how powerful it actually was.”
“From the beginning, Gemma created such a safe space for me where she has allowed me to speak my truth and show up for myself when I really needed it.”
“We visited a variety of techniques from working with the Inner Child and exploring the shadow, to setting intentions for the future, and it is safe to say that each and every session was incredible and powerful.”
“A fear of judgement was a reoccurring theme for me, but whenever I would turn up for these sessions, I knew I was in a judgement free zone.”
“There was one session where I had great difficulty in connecting with myself, my mind was racing and I was struggling to get into a meditative state, but Gemma recognised this and at the end of the session we went back to working with parts where we visited this part which prevented me from speaking my truth because of fear of judgement – it was so powerful.”
“Reflecting back on my coaching journey I have seen significant results and I feel like I have finally let go of all the hurt I have held onto all these years.”
“It is emotional but it is so powerful, I struggle to find the words to describe Intuitive Psychology Coaching as it is truly incredible.”
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you Gemma for allowing me to show up for myself, guiding me on this wonderful journey and for being the most kind, caring and calming soul – you really are amazing at what you do and I cannot recommend you enough.”
“If there is one bit of advice I could give it would be to just trust yourself and stick with it. There may be some sessions that resonate deeply, and others that may not go how you expected, but trust yourself because this experience allows you to speak your truth and change your life.”
